How do I select from the selection?

Post by *Opt00r »

Let's say I compare two directories. I end up with bunch of archive files, and with pictures and html. Now If I want to de-select the pictures and html and other non-archive files, how do I go about doing that?

[Num-] and as mask '*.htm *.jpg *.txt'

or

1. Show->only selected files
2. [alt*]
3. Put cursor on one desired file (e.g. sample.rar)
4. [Alt]+ [num+] to select all files with the same extension
5. repeat with next extension at item 3

@Opt00r:
If you want to learn about key combos and hidden TC functions, try the extended menu from pdavit:

I hope you haven't turned scarlet as much as your new monk avatar, looks like he has had way too much Ouzo the last weeks. :mrgreen:

2 icfu & Clo

The Ouzo drinking amounts are getting higher and higher every day lately apart from some beer breaks for the Olympic Games! ;) :P

BTW, that avatar (which pretty much looks exactly like me excluding the boldness) is sourced from the new ChessMaster 10th Edition. I love it! (both Chessmaster and the avatar).
