What is actually running:
Total Commander Version 8.52a 32 bit (2015-09-17)
-----
What Windows 'Control Panel' > 'Programs and Features' says is installed:
Name: Total Commander (Remove or Repair)
Publisher: Ghisler Software GmbH
Installed: 16/11/14
Version: 8.52a
Name: Total Commander 64-bit (Remove or Repair)
Publisher: Ghisler Software GmbH
Installed: 17/04/16
Version: 9.0a

Do I have a problem?
Thanks,
Mark.

** Partly solved **
Should I uninstall the 32-bit version??
** My 'Classic Start Menu' launcher pointed to 'TOTALCMD64.EXE', but 'c:\Users\mark\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\Total Commander.lnk' pointed to 'TOTALCMD.EXE'. The result: Launching TC ran the 64-bit version, but Windows Start ran the 32-bit version.
Both versions are in the 'C:\totalcmd\' folder. Is that normal?
If Windows Start failed to launch TC, then I would have seen (and fixed) the problem on my next boot. But the problem was hidden by the (erroneous) presence of the 32-bit version.
Should I uninstall the 32-bit version?
Thanks,
Mark.

MarkFilipak,
Worked fine when I tried in a virtual machine and let the uninstaller keep the configuration files. Perhaps make a backup first.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Roman,
Thanks for the help you give to users.
I understand there's no problem ...well, not a program-function problem...
Can I simply delete 'TOTALCMD.EXE'? Do you see any problem there? Any dependency on 32-bit code?
...Note: I'd simply try deleting the 32-bit application and see what happens, but I'm loathe (fearful) to break TC.
haveAGoodDay!
Mark.

My pleasure. Thanks for the help you give to users.
Yes you can, but I guess uninstalling the 32-bit version would also remove any other 32-bit files (if any). Can I simply delete 'TOTALCMD.EXE'?
