Hello,
If I open the triangle net to C:\*.* I can go to This PC and then to Downloads. It will open the location \\Downloads\*.*. Why can I not op this location manually? I want to create a tab that goes to \\Downloads\
Second question. Why are zip files shown as directories in the \\Downloads\ view. See screenshot.

If you press Ctrl+P (Copy current path to command line) then you will get: \\Downloads\jslegers wrote:If I open the triangle net to C:\*.* I can go to This PC and then to Downloads. It will open the location \\Downloads\*.*
You can use this button:
It will work for the virtual folder only in Windows 8.x and 10 - not for Windows 7.
Copy the code here above (Ctrl+C) - right click on TC's button bar and choose "Paste"
Code: Select all
TOTALCMD#BAR#DATA
cd ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\::{374DE290-123F-4565-9164-39C4925E467B}
%COMMANDER_EXE%,6
Downloads (virtual folder and real folder)
%UserProfile%\Downloads\
-1
Copy the code here above (Ctrl+C) - right click on TC's button bar and choose "Paste"
It is because \\Downloads\ is a virtual folder - so TC get the information from Explorer, which considers zip files as folders - you will see that in other virtual folders like \\Documents\Second question. Why are zip files shown as directories in the \\Downloads\ view. See screenshot.
