Beta-testing anniversary

About 3 weeks from now we're approaching the 1st anniversary of beta-testing version 2.80beta4 for Android.

Somehow I'd think it's about time to make a decision if this beta is stable enough for final status  as I was hoping for further development and possible expansion of features (like e.g. expanded search function) in the future.

Since this really remarkable utility is free stuff so far I have no intention of sounding obnoxious though.

greetings
TomTom

Hmm - the current Android version of TC is 2.81b7 not 2.80b4...

Not according to this forum - which should be home of TCA.

Anyway - where did you find it (v2.81b7)?

Christian for some reason doesn't update the text of that post to make it less version-spectfic (it would be better if it would say something like "latest beta" instead of "2.80 beta 4"), but the latest 2.81 beta 7 can be downloaded using the links http://ghisler.com/tcbeta.apk (direct apk download) and https://www.ghisler.com/betatc (redirects to Google Play Store download).
Because the Google Play Store is considered as a main way for beta testing, some future betas probably will be released only there (but I think there will be good chances to download them outside Google Play from 3rd party websites like apkmirror.)

Thank you all. That indeed was a new one, that the latest version is found on a page that says at the very top "2.80 public beta 4 for Android is available now!".

Although, I already had stumbled upon that "anabiotic" Android "ADB 7.3-plugin" which - under that name - meanwhile also has "Zombie-upgraded" to v8.0. But who would've thought that this might also be true for a genuine TC-product as opposed to some "foreign" plugin that may well have lost support a long time ago.

Thanks & greetings
Tom

Correction: on that note just found out, that in the meantime it has "Zombie-upgraded" to v8.2 only a few days ago.

I am registrered as beta tester via https://www.ghisler.com/betatc and have installed my TC for Android via Google Store - so I get the beta updates automatically.
