Extracting Files Became Very Slow

Post by *al7amimi »

I have a NAS that I've been using for few months. Today something strange happened. When I use total commander to move files to the NAS it does it at the expected speed. But if the files are rar archive, I first open the rar file, select what is inside then I choose copy. This used to work w/o issues until today, now the speed it copies the files at is very very slow. So I tested WinRar, and it works w/o issues. What happened? Why am I having this issue just today after all these months?

I am using the latest version

I am using the latest version
A little bit more info would be helpful.

Which version of TC, (I assume 9.0a) but 32 or 64-bit?
Which version of WinRAR?
Which version of Windows?

I am using Version 9.0a 64 bit. Windows 10 home X64. WinRar 5.40 32 bit. I am not sure why you ask about WinRar. TC built in support for rar is what I am complaining about.

thnx for the help.

I am not sure why you ask about WinRar.
Just because you are stating to use the "latest" Version.

Latest TC (9.0a) uses unrar version 5.40
Latest WinRAR is version 5.50
