[9.10ß1] 7z unpack does not show Background option

Post by *Flint »

I started TC with clean INI (to get rid of plugins) and tried to unpack some 7z archives to test the new "7z background unpacking" function, but I didn't get any option for background. The progress dialog does not have this button, only Pause and Cancel.

I tried several archives in case it was something wrong with specific archive, result is the same. Also checked 32- and 64-bit versions, no difference.

I could reproduce it: There already was a button when you selected some files inside the archive and pressed F5, but none when using Alt+F7. This should be fixed now in beta 2.

Note: Alt+F7 with multiple selected archives cannot be put in the background, because TC cannot know the archive types beforehand.

You probably meant Alt+F6 or Alt+F9, not Alt+F7? :)
Indeed, I did not try F5, only full unpack.

Confirm fixed in β2 (although found and reported another bug).
