Prompt the user to confirm on closing TC with Alt-F4

Post by *geodesist »

I frequently have many windows open, and sometimes accidentally close total commander using alt-F4. I always have it open from the time I start my computer. Could there be an option to prompt before closing, or an option to change the close/exit away from alt-F4?

..., or an option to change the close/exit away from alt-F4?
- Configuration -> Options -> Misc : Redefine hotkeys
- [x] Alt+ [F4 |v|]
- Command: (press the [magnifier] button to select any available command:. e.g. cm_Minimize )
- [green checkmark] button
- [OK]

Thank You for MinimizeOnClose: !!!
I could never seem to be able to check here when I had Done it, then forgotten in mean time.

Still searching (I am search-term challenged, lol) but just in case -- is there a similar setting that eliminates double-clik = close tab since my hands occasionally dbl-clik / middle clik when I am trying to select the tab.

TIA

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
