SyncTool: path with % characters

Post by *pantantrolla »

Hello, (sorry for my English)

I don't know if the issue has been addressed or if it is this way by construction, the truth is that when one of the synchronization path has this % character, it gives an error and cannot be synchronized

Attached capture (interface in Spanish)

Thank you

Well, %APPDATA% is an enviroment variable of windows.
This will be resolved to something like "C:\users\..."
Using it in the middle of a path results into an invalid path.

Enter this path into any other application (explorer, command line, ...) will also result in an invalid path.

Just don't use enviroment variable in the middle of a path or as filename.

Correct, thank you,

I mistakenly thought it had to do with the % character, and as you say, it is a "forbidden word" issue (in this case a environment variable) in the path

Thx
