is there a way to have workspace?

Post by *giulia »

Hi

1)
is there a way to have workspace ?

for example tree and 1 tab , save it as workspace and activate it when i need it

and go back to the default workspace , 2 tabs in short tc in classic view

2)
last thing is there an option to open the folder for Tree panel options ?
open a folder with 1 click?
there is an option in operation open files and direcotories with a single click
but it's dangerous , open files with 1 click

thanks
love Total Commander , best file manager ever made

Sorry. I don't quite understand your question :(

I think a lot of people would like to help you. Maybe, if your native language is not english, try to contact a friend who can help you formulate it a little better. Google Translate has improved, but not always perfect...

PS: Another tip, I have got from a friend, which has improved my life considerable :) => Dont abbreviate too much. Use full sentences.

Please don't hate me.
Happy holidays.. :D

Maybe you can work with saving tabs.

Right click on you tabs, you can save the config to the file

So save your tree config to "tree.tab"
And normal layout to "normal.tab"

In the buttonbar you can add buttons with opentab. For example

Code: Select all

TOTALCMD#BAR#DATA
OPENTABS
c:\Programs\totalcmd\tabs\Tree.tab
wcmicons.dll

-1
only thing is, that you maybe like to save the current dirs in between. you can add another savetabs command in the buttonbar also.
