Shortcuts to move the panel partition?

Post by *JimmyTheBroker »

Hi guys,
In some of my custom views I have many columns and in other I only have a few. Sometimes I prefer the left panel to be wider and other times narrower, depending on how many columns of information I have.

Is there a way to change the positioning of the panel partition other than using your mouse to drag it? like present positions, or a button to move it an inch to the left or an inch to the right?

(By partition I mean the part in-between if you press "Tab")

Thanks,
Jimmy.

cm_50Percent / "cm_100percent 75" / "cm_100pe

"mouse" on Android? ... Possible but uncommon.

Did you wanted to post in the English forum for the TC desktop version instead?

Here are command available:
cm_50Percent=909;Window separator at 50%
cm_100Percent=910;Window separator at 100%

Since v9.0 the "cm_100Percent" allows parameter also like
"cm_100percent 75"
"cm_100percent -25" for the left panel

Try them in the TC-commandline.

With that command you can create a button.
Or User defined commands (like "em_SmallPanel" in usercmd.ini) where you can assign a keyboard shortcut to.

Note also there is a tool "TCFS2" for such tasks:

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
