You can also try to start your file from ZIP archive opened in Total Commander using the option "Unpack all and execute". There is a topic on a forum about this TC feature:

No - just add Expertmode=1 to the [Packer] section of your wincmd.ini file and restart TC.

If you double click an .exe file it will be unpacked and executed. If you right-click an . exe file and choose Properties, there will be a button in the dialog saying "Unpack all and execute".

Actually with Expertmode=1 (BTW, it's a [Packer] wincmd.ini section setting) more keys must be pressed to start file in "Unpack all and execute" mode using keyboard - with that option active, on a file user have to use:
Alt+Enter, Alt+[underlined letter on "Unpack all and execute" button, which is "A" for English TC language]

With Expertmode=0 (default) there is no need to hold Alt while pressing Enter key.

You are right, my mistake.

With Expertmode=1, if you just press Enter on a file, then the file will get executed/opened - if Expertmode=0 you will get the properties dialog, where you can chose between "Unpack and execute" and "Unpack all and execute"

So if you predominantly executes/opens single files, then Expertmode=1 is the best choice. If you mostly need to unpack all and execute, then Expertmode=0 is best.

I have edited [Configuration] to [Packer] in my previous post.
