Sync Right to Left option is always delete

Any files on the right side of the comparison that are not on the left side are marked red X (delete). Any files on the left side and not on the right side are marked green arrow for copy.

Why are files being marked for deletion?

When you enable Asymmetric synchronisation, single files on the right-hand are marked for deletion because the right-hand side is the backup (and deleted files on the source are supposed to be deleted in the backup, too).

If you want a synchronisation of both sides (right to left and vice versa), disable Asymmetric.
