TC's additional sort orders is not working

Post by *rt2ryu »

TC's "additional sort orders" under the "View Modes" is not working

I try to set under a view to set a default sort order as "creationdate",than set the "additional sort orders" second as "Ext",third as "Name".

After the setting, under the view ,the default sort is working but the additional sort orders is no effort

what should i do to make the additional sort orders working?

There can not be spaces between the list of additional sort orders - could that be the case by you?

Where is the space???

under the view mode ,the additional sort orders's setting is shown 2,1

2 mean the ascending order the "Ext", 1 mean the ascending order the "Name",

Yes, but in TC, is it exactly as you describe it:

Code: Select all

2,1
or is it

Code: Select all

2, 1
?

I just thought that I the other day saw that id didn't work with spaces between the paramerers - but now I have updated my TC here at work to TC 9,12 and I can say that here it works fine spaces or not.

I used the 9.12 too. and my setting not include the space between the

Code: Select all

2,1
.

I just try to uninstall and clean all the profile,

then install a none setting TC to add the view setting again ,and it's not working also.

in the wincmd.ini

in the wincmd.ini

Code: Select all

[ViewModes]
0_name=<default>
0_icon=
0_options=6|102|0|-2,1|-1|-1|-1

Code: Select all

[CustomFields]
Widths1=80,30,80,80,80
Headers1=ext\ndosname\ncreationtime
Contents1=[=tc.ext]\n[=tc.dosname]\n[=tc.creationtime]
Options1=1418|1|96
AutoLoad=0
Titles=exa
Does you mean the it order well with multiple sequences at the same time, after each switch view in automatic order as the setting. From 9.0 I still not get the effort,every change the view I need to use the hand leave the keyboard to Hold Ctrl down and click the ext,name by the mouse one by one.

If make a view mode with the sorting as you describe, and then apply that view mode, I get the same sorting as if I manually click the Date column header, and then hold down the Ctrl key and click first the Ext. column header and then the Name column header

And I found a streng question.

Use the same wincmd.ini is maked on my laptop transfer to another PC, it worked. So i just think it solved.~~

but the sad things is on the work well setting I add a column [=filegroups.Group name] wich make by the wdx_filegroups_1.10.zip,it well not to work, Then I tried any other replace the column with arbitrary plugin, It well not work, Then I test out of the default column, use any Custom columns in the View Mode it well not work.[/b]

I had only tested it with standard columns, not with Custom Columns.

After Trying to use "Additional sort orders" with Columns view set to a Custom column, I can confirm, that it does not work - wich is obviously a bug since you are even offered to select custom columns to sort by when you click the [+] button next to the "Additional sort orders" field.

I havel placed a bug report - http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=338508#338508
