TC Plugins updater

did you consider creating an update mechanism for plugins ?

It would really be useful and not that complicated.

Uh, "not that complicated"? Quite the opposite is true. First of all, not every plugin is available on the official TC home page, because every plugin author decides for themselves where, how and why to publish their creations. Second, it would require some maintenance effort; take a look at the existing program Total Updater which has not been updates for quite a while, not even its database (although this one partly updates itself).

So the main question is: Who would maintain such thing? I doubt that Ghisler would have the time, because he's busy developing not only TC for Windows, but als TC for Android, for Windows Phone and several TC plugins (e.g. SFTP). And, remember that Ghisler is more or less a one-man show.
