Make selected item highlighting darker & thicker?

Post by *rug »

Is there a way to change the highlighting of selected items? Right now it is a very thin fine dotted line and I want it to be much heavier. For example with the following settings the entire line of the selected item in detail view in Windows Explorer and Xplorer2, but not Total Commander, is dark blue with white text and in thumbnails view the selected thumbnail has a heavy dark blue border with filename in white on dark blue background(Xplorer2), or the whole thing is in a solid dark blue box (Windows explorer).

Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization > Window Color > Item > Selected Items > Size > 19 and color set to dark blue

Windows 7

TC uses its own coloring settings for file lists:

I recommend to use the inverted cursor in the settings Ghisler mentioned.
