If you mistakely insert the non-ASCII symbol in the Date field of "Change Attributes", in the "Invalid input" error message it is replaced by the two-letters string that has nothing with the letter inserted, see Image: http://mwz-ru.homeserver.com/tests/ChangeAttrib.gif
When you do the same in the Time field — both ASCII and non-ASCII symbols are replaced by zero (0).
I do understand that it is unimportant in this case — but probably the same effect can appear in the major cases.
