[All ver.] 'First letter uppercase' in Multi-Rename

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

[All ver.] 'First letter uppercase' in Multi-Rename

Post by *mwz »

When there are the enumerated files in the list — the 'First letter uppercase' option of Multi-Rename does not work as expected for them: it works here as 'All lowercase' option.

Say, "001 Introduction To Smth", where the first letter, but not the first symbol, is "i", turns into "001 introduction to smth", but not "001 Introduction to smth" as it has to be if to accept the 'First letter uppercase' term literally.

Sorry, that's a known limitation. With Unicode, it's impossible to determine which is really the first character. There are currently no plans to change that.
