I thought about additional usernames:
Upside-Down:
  • ɥɐlƃǝɹʞ
  • ʞɹǝƃloɥ
or Right-to-Left, or a combination of both.

But this would complicate the login process enormous ;-)

Problem still persist here: no topic reply notification, also no spam in webmailer.
I guess i have to wait a while until 1&1 decides to deliver mails from ghisler.ch again.

NOTIFICATIONS was checked but column EMAIL was not checked!
And I had even warned about this:
Does anybody else not get email notifications? Notice you have to enable them in the User Control Panel, they are not enabled by default

Problem is RTL if you already have a reverse written account name.
You can't see at a glance which of the two accounts is meant in the suggestion list of a password manager (e.g. the build-in from firefox).
And typing unicode control sequences without any additional tool isn't easy either (at least if you are not using them on a daily base).

I found that I miss 'Author' column that displayed topic authors in a forum, it was quite useful for e.g. reviewing my bug reports, is there a way to get it back?

Jon Canale wrote: 2018-07-23, 14:48 UTC Maybe I am missing it, but clicking "Total Commander" at the top of the forum page used to take you to the Total Commander web site. Now it just takes you to the home page of the forum. Is there another location on the forum page that jumps you to the TC web page? (Or do I just need to click the menu item in Total Commander?!)

It was rather subtle in the old forum, but at least it was there.

How about releasing the attempted but failed usernames that never received their confirmation messages?
If there are old, locked (never to be used again), usernames 'awaiting confirmation', could they not be released for retry in this new regime?

You can see the author in the left side under the topic title. But I admit, it was faster looking down the Author column in the old forum.

Does anyone use an RSS reader with the forum? If yes, does it support sorting posts into threads? E.g.:

Code: Select all

[-] Thread Title
 |- Post 1
 |- Post 2
 |- Post 3
 |- ...
The only RSS reader I know that does that is my old trusty NewzCrawler, unfortunately, with the new forum it does not recognize the structure anymore and shows the posts in a flat chronological list, i.e.:

Code: Select all

Post 5 from some thread (newest)
Post 4 from some other thread (newer)
Post 3 from any thread
Post 2 from a thread (older)
Post 1 from another random thread (oldest)
which makes threads really difficult to follow.

I would be grateful for recommendations of any RSS reader that can show threads with all associated posts below them.

TIA
Roman

Oh, you're right, really thank you! :D
Well, it should be still usable because browser highlights matches.
