New to android -- can't find TC

I've used TC for many years. But my experience with android (Galaxy J3 Prime) is limited to a couple of months. I was glad to see a version of TC for android and installed it yesterday. At least, I think I installed it. The installation said it was. But I can't find it. No Icon, no mention of it in any listing. Not visible in the Win 10 version of TC when I connect to the phone.

How can I put an icon on the desktop so I can use the program?

Please check in the Play Store in your list of installed apps whether Total Commander has been installed or not. If yes, it should appear in the normal app drawer. You can then long tap on it and drag it on the desktop to where you want it.

Alas, I can't find Play Store. Maybe I accidentally deleted it. I did find the download page for TC and attempted to reinstall it. No luck. I have the .apk for Play Store and will attempt to install it.

Thank you for your assistance.

I have to say, the more I try to use Android the better I like Windows 10.

Ha! I reinstalled Play Store and, magically, my installed apps appeared. Including TC.
