"Load tabs from file, replace tabs"
indeed it loads a file tab already saved, but swapping panels:
Is that what it is supposed to do?
I don't want that.

If you start saving tabs on the right side, you have to restore them on the right side to avoid swapping panels.

Attention:
In this case it is necessary to press the button, because "Load tabs from file, replace tabs"
would otherwise call the tabs in the active panel and this could be unwanted.

8. OPENTABS tabfile.tab same, but replaces the current tabs with these new tabs.
To open tabs on the left/right side, append the character L or R to the command, respectively.
Examples:16. SAVETABS, SAVETABSL, SAVETABSR, SAVETABS2, SAVETABS2L, SAVETABS2R: save tabs to a specified file.
The first 3 save just one side (active, left, right), the second 3 save both sides (active first, left first, right first).

In my Extended Menus you can find a menu item dedicated to Tabs with several extra commands. <http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/tabsmenu.png>

@petermad:
it seems your solution is the most simple, am I right?
However I'm afraid of adding Extended Menus that then I have a problem with the common use of TC and I'm already quite customized TC. So what are the consequences of using your Extended Menus? Is it going to preseve my customization? Your Extended Menu is it just the commands that can be accessed with acceleration keys?

No, it is much more than that.Your Extended Menu is it just the commands that can be accessed with acceleration keys?
Unless you have made customizations to your current .mnu or .lng file, you will have all you customizations at hand after installing the Extended Menus.
Installing my Extended Menus does not write to any of your existing files, except for changing the entries in wincmd.ini for language and menu file (LanguageIni= and Mainmenu=).
If you don't like my Menus you simply just change your language back to your original setting from TC's configuration dialog - and all is back to the way it was before.
