Drive button bar with dark mode has been fixed :)
Dark mode is very nice, I set a little lighter color (black-gray), because default color is too dark vs Windows theme.
The only inconvenience is the appearance of the menu frames (for example Opera browser with dark mode has better menu frames).

"Define color by file type..." not work in Dark Mode?
There are unfortunately still some bugs in it which will be fixed in beta 2.
Fixed in beta2 ty.

I'm using a standard Windows menu - unfortunately only the inside of the menu can be owner drawn, the menu borders are drawn by Windows. Maybe it would be possible via subclassing of the menu windows, I haven't tried that yet.

Drive button bar is fixed. I haven't noticed any more glaring issues after browsing trough most common dialogs.

Any chance to use highlight color (or a separate color) for menu/dialog selections instead of the default blue? Or is that another winapi limitation?

That could indeed be done - maybe as an option.

Hello,

Thank you very much for the dark theme, I'm an very old user of Win..oups..Total Commander and I've been waiting for this so long! once again thank you ! :D

I was wondering if it's possible to remove the 3 horizontal lines from the top? It would be really pretty. Don't you think so?

Like this :
With horizontal lines

without horizontal lines

Or if this is not possible, have the possibility to change the color ?
black like this

The line directly below the menu is drawn by Windows, it cannot be removed.

The other lines could in principle be removed. I will consider it as an option.

in Dark mode

WinWait("Total Commander", "Do you really want to delete")
not work, but work
WinWait("Total Commander", "Cancel")

do it is a dark mode limit that not find text in message?
do it is possible put string code in a hidden control in message to find it?

That's cool for the other lines :D ,too bad for the first line ( even the color can't be changed?)

If I understand it's going to look like something like that :

That's already a great improvement! :D

Looking more closely, I realized that having more rules, not all are applied.

You mean plugins? They should all work with Total Commander 9.50, but if they have a custom user interface, it will not be dark.

Hello,

Is it possible for dark mode to customize Active/Inactive tab color? In Standard mode active tab has a lighter color and it is easy to tell the difference between active & inactive tab. However on dark mode tabs have the same color and I cannot distinguish between active & inactive.
