See number of files/items inside a directory + Delete a button

Hi all! I have two questions, hope you can help.
I've been using ES Explorer but I would like to start using TC now.
1) How can I know how many files/items there are inside a directory without using the "Properties" option from contextual menu?
2) Is there any way to delete the "Pack Files" button from bottom tool bar? I don't use it and I prefer to use that space for my own personalized buttons.

I googled for a solution but I couldn't find it :(
Thank you very much!

1) You can't. You can just see the total size by using a button with command Nr. 115.
2) No. The button has two uses, packing and disconnecting from plugins (it changes icon to do this).

If I understand the question correctly, you can use Ctrl+Q or Ctrl+L hotkeys.

Hmm, I don't have a Ctrl-key on my Android phone ;-)

Thanks - unfortunately I only get the extra keys in wide mode (when I turn my phone)

I use hardware (physical) Bluetooth keyboard with Polish programmers keyboard layout (Google does NOT provide the most popular layout, which is really strange). Mainly with tablet, I'm too blind to fight against smartphones.

@Hacker
Hacker's Keyboard doesn't support Polish layout. I use Maja keyboard layout.

PS. My bad: I overlooked forum name on "Unread posts" list. Bad forum software: The browser follows the forum features, hides the top of the page with a breadcrumb bar and goes directly to linked message.
