Tweak: Search by shifted characters

I have Alt + Letter file/folder searching enabled and find that searching for _default.pif is hampered by TC not being able to search for Alt + Shift minus. (Alt Underscore). Thanks for reading.

Shift has no sense when using with Alt+letter for quick search

you can assign a hotkey for cm_ShowQuickSearch to show empty Quicksearch window and start typing

You can use [Alt]+[any character key] to activate quick search and then use [backspace] to delete the char and the press [shift]+[any key] to search. So you could even use joker '*' and '?'.

Personally I use the 'Letters - with search dialog". Thus you could use each combination for quick-search directly.

To switch to the commandline you'll have to press [shift]+[left/right], in long view you can use [left/right] without shift.
This has the advance that you can disable the display of command line ( Configuration->Options->Layout->show command line) and spare some space for the file window.

But there is the next question: how to put the cursor to exchange between several files which match the criteria? E.g. if we have in the directrory files:
command.com
commerce.doc
computer.txt
is it however possible to toggle cursor position between the three files after query om* is entered?

Usually you could press the last letter again to walk between all hits. But if there are - as in your example - some files with a double consonant and some without you can use [up/down] to walk between the hits.
