No drag & drop confirmation to inactive tabs
I always get a confirmation dialog when I drag files to an inactive tab in the other pane, how can I avoid that?

Not for me----

- Strange , I just checked this: carrying a file on an inactive tab makes only that the file is copied, but I don't get any confirmation message… Even if the inactive tab is a locked one (quite locked).

Same with ALT---

- The same with Alt+D&D: the file is moved alright, but not any message
Please, keep an eye here, maybe some other users would reproduce this issue ?

Sure, I restarted TC a lot of times and still the same behavior.
Another strange thing is that few days ago I got the History when I double right-click the current path field (double left-click bring up the Hotlist)... and now it doesn't work at all (the Hotlist still works, but no History at double right-click).
Maybe it has to do with any windows registry setting?

1st: nope dont think so as TC doesnt save settings in the Registryjesped wrote:Another strange thing is that few days ago I got the History when I double right-click the current path field (double left-click bring up the Hotlist)... and now it doesn't work at all (the Hotlist still works, but no History at double right-click).

2nd: if i do a rightclick on the path i get the DirectoryHotlist, Leftclick brings up the ExplorerMenu...
Try starting TC with /i=test.ini and try the bahavior there

Hoecker sie sind raus!
I tried with /i=test.ini and exactly the same behavior: double left-click shows up the Hotlist and double right-click shows the standard context menu. In fact, it looks like it doesn't get the double right-click and just does a simple right click...
I wrote about the registry settings but didn't meant regarding TC, just maybe some standard windows registry setting regarding the mouse options or something that produces that undesirable behavior. I'm using a Logitech MX700 with the last Mouseware drivers.

In both cases single clicks are enoughjesped wrote:I tried with /i=test.ini and exactly the same behavior: double left-click shows up the Hotlist and double right-click shows the standard context menu. Perhaps you clicked the symbols for hotlist/history?
and what about d&d with alt with fresh ini?
i have confirmation turn off and i dont get any question...
Hoecker sie sind raus!
I don't know why... but it seems I have a totally different behavior of the rest of the TC users!
When I single left click the path field it just enters that field (after 1 sec or so) allowing me to type in...
I use the single-click option for both TC and Explorer, maybe it has something to do with it?

Is it TC ???

Hi !
¤ I disabled the simple click for editing the path-field…
I use this rarely, so I have set a button in a bar instead.
¤ I thought too to a Windows “joke”, so it could be useful to see how the confirmation-message looks
- Maybe isn't a TC message ?
Please, try to place a screen-shot @ a reachable URL.

Are you SURE that this is the right INI which is used by this copy of TC? Maybe have you several instances ???
Try also to add in wincmd.ini under [configuration]
UseIniInProgramDir=7
or
UseIniInProgramDir=4
