For a dir or file with a very long name, I find it is hard to read the whole name, and it makes date, size and attr hard to read. My first question is that if there is a way to enable horizontal scroll bar in either left and right file list panel?
For long directory name, is there any way to enable tooltip with the whole path displayed when I move my mouse cusor over the left of right panel's caption?
I realize that in the configuration, you can enable file tooltip feature (this may solve my first question, but I prefer to have h scrol bar option). However, the tooltip does not include file attribute. Is there anyway to customize the content of the file tooltip?

Yes, there ischudq wrote:[...]However, the tooltip does not include file attribute. Is there anyway to customize the content of the file tooltip?[...]

1. Select menu "Configuration | Display"
2. Frame "Help texts": Check both options "Show filename in tooltip if truncated" and "Win32-style tips with file-comments (if available)"
3. Press "+" button next to last mentioned option
4. Now you can add custom fields from content plugins to tooltips, for each file type definition separately (if you like to show more than on additional information / field from content plugins in the tooltip window, each field value in a new line, you can use a "\n"-string to seperate the fields in the "Custom fields by file type"-dialog)

Great! I can add attribute strings and size in bytes. The tooltip displays like this:
Attr: ra--
Size: 12,340
Type: ...
Date Modified: ...
Size: ...
The first two are my specified items and the last three are default values. Is there any way to disply my specified after the default one and remove any default ones (like the default Size that is in KBs).
I still cannot find the place to display horizontal scroll bar. Thanks for any help!

As I wrote. It cannot be displayed in normal column set (probably). You have to define your own column set (even the same as standard)chudq wrote: I still cannot find the place to display horizontal scroll bar. Thanks for any help!
Go to Configuation - Custom Columns -> New button and here at bottom of screen is checkbox Horizontal scrollbar. Here you can define which columns you want to see
