How can I sync between Android phone and laptop?

Hello,
I'm looking for a way to sync between my laptop and my android phone. Both of them have Total Commander.
Any safe way I can get my Android to show up as a drive on my laptop so I can:
1) use syncing on laptop TC, in order to backup my Android phone to my laptop?
2) use syncing on laptop TC, in order to sync specific folders on laptop with specific folders on android so after each sync the files on the android are up to date with the files on the laptop?

FYI, I want to do this while both laptop and android are on my home wifi network
