If the copy/move dialog is opened from the branch view you have the option whether you also want to copy the relative paths or just the filename.
Is it possible to add this feature also when a copy/move dialog is opened for in the "normal view" (not only from within the branch view) ?

First opening the branch view can take a long time over the network with a lot of subdirs.

No, but you can open a branch view for only the selected folders: Ctrl+Shift+B.
