Mouse down blow up preview

The new thumbnail feature to increase the size with the scroll wheel is fine
but I like much more a feature of the XYplorer file manager.
Holding the mouse down on a thumbnail or on the icon of a file in the list
displays a large preview image.
Thats so much better than the current TC behaviour which forces me to increase the size of all thumbnails
with the wheel with the result that I see less of them per screen.
I guess that should not be hard to program.

Wasn't there a similar suggestion a few weeks ago? Anyways, support++.

Isn't that what Ctrl+Q does?

No,
it doesn't change the content in the other window and just displays a large preview as long as the mouse button is hold down.
Its very convenient and I miss it in TC since I sometimes work with XYplorer.
XY also has a quick view similar to the TC function.

See Easier File & Folder Viewing Options at viewtopic.php?p=398505#p398505

All use mouse over or mouse down so fewer than current methods.
