Thanks!

Now a screen is only shown for a very short time, which disappears again practically immediately.

TC IrfanView Plugin 2.1+2,2 and Quick View:
Images too large images for the file area are displayed with a scrollbar. But scrolling does NOT work, neither with the mouse, nor with the arrow keys.

TC IrfanView 2.2:
I still have the plugin PhotoViewer in my Lister plugin configuration, but its definition is further down on the list. TC usually picks the first entry only when F3 is pressed. But wit TC IrfanView 2.2 I get both views (previous versions were OK). This should not happen.

Note on multiple Lister plugins for a file type:
On my plugin configuration list I have a few plugins which can handle the same file type. This allows different rendering for a file; e.g. an XML file can be shown as a tree structure, or as a simple text. It is possible to step through the matching plugin definitions with a hotkey. Alas, I forgot which key to press, since I use this feature rarely - but I know it exists. Maybe a kind soul on this forum can give me a hint. Hurray, my memories are back: :D The hotkey is "4" for Lister > Options > Image/Multimedia. (And deus-ex confirms this  )

Usually, the normal key '4' (not the num-key) cycles through the installed plugins that support the currently viewed file.

Thanks a lot! Super fast reply! My memories came back and I updated my post, before I'd seen your post. But I'm grateful anyway.

You need to read the Readme file. You will learn from it that you need to use the files i_view32.ini, i_view 64.ini from the plugin kit.

You're right.

Then you need to use the plugin version 1.6. Read the Readme.

Hi,
I have this Plugin installed too, and it works :D , but I have a question about the integration in Lister. In Lister, I have in the Multimedia Configuration Tab entered IrfanView to listen to another image-extensions like:

Code: Select all

*.icl *.ico *.ccx *.dds *.xcf *.jpg *.png *.rw2 *.svg *.webp *.heic
Image: https://i.imgur.com/R2XuQS2.png

Is it still necessary, or can I remove these Entries?

Need I IrfanView as StandaloneTool for my Pictures still on my Desktop or can I copy all Files from my Portable Folder to the

Code: Select all

%COMMANDER_PATH%\plugins\wlx\TCIrfanView\IrfanView(64)
because I have copied the Language Folder to see all Description in German, and it functions (!), so what is the sense to have another IrfanView-Folder in Windows with all the Subfolders ? THX, for your opinion.

You can delete it. The plugin does not require any additional options.

Of course, one IV folder in the system is enough. Only be sure to copy the ini files IV from the plugin kit into it. Otherwise, the plugin will work crookedly.

Switching by the 4 key is possible only in version 1.X. In version 2.X, IrfanView works offline and TC hotkeys do not work.
