Still same problem with 2.1. Tested with FreeCommanderXE.

Why did you decide that? Version 2.1 is the same full-fledged plugin with installation, quick viewing, etc.

FreeCommanderXE - this is the first time I've heard of such a thing. I'll see if I have time.

Well you write:
AkulaBig wrote:...a clean one is launched by F3 IrfanView, without integration with Lister Total Commander
So it is straightforward to assume that it is Irfanview that is launched since there is no "integration with Lister".

Could you maybe explain a little deeper what it is that version 2 does?

I looked at your file manager. Funny. It even supports TC plugins. But there is no problem with closing Lister windows. Apparently I need to explain in more detail how version 2.0 worked. The Lister window was launched by F3. After closing the view, the Lister window continued to hang in memory until TC closed. At the same time, how many times F3 was pressed, so many windows hung in memory. In version 2.1, this has been eliminated and the Lister window does not start at all during viewing.

I have already written to you that the work of the plugin is no different from the standard plugin. The plugin is installed in a standard way, there is no need for any associations manually. And I wrote and added - QuickView mode works as standard. Only by F3, not the Lister window is displayed, but the IV window. Reducing the number of displayed windows allows you to make the viewing smoother. All IV functions work, in 1.6 there is no way to stretch the image in the toolbar, etc. You can also use IV versions of any bit depth. In 1.6, only the same bit depth as TC. Although I am preparing version 1.7, where it will also be possible to use IV of any bit depth.

Exactly this problem occurs here and it still happens to me.

I also tried it with a fresh portable version, but same problem.

Now everything is clear. As I thought, I'm talking about a completely different error. I think the assembly is to blame in your case. Maybe her settings. I'll try it out soon.

I have sorted out your problem. FC is poorly compatible with TC. But I managed to make the viewer FC hide. In version 2.2 you will see this. In addition, there is a really serious problem. The Quick View window is not blocked for you to access. Thus, the user has full access to his management, which is very bad. I will try to fix this error, but I will not devote time to it for a long time.

got it. Version 2.x is a standalone image view started by F3 with QuickView supported. It is no wonder that I didn't notice that, because I seledom use quick view. Thanks for the clarification.

Now it is clear why you have questions about the difference between the versions.

Version 2.2:
- fixed a bug due to which the focus after viewing the file by F3 went to
any program whose window has the property "On top of all windows".
* internal changes.
