Perhaps not a bug but as designed: if I do a search with the checkbox 'RegEx' enabled; close the dialog and open it again then this checkbox is disabled. In other words: it doesn't remember the state of this box. This is very annoying because everytime I have to switch it on.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Regex in search
It is by design - the same applies to the "Find text:" checkbox
I too would like to see the state of the checked boxes in the "Find Files" dialog to be preserved between searches, at least within the same TC-session. Maybe as an optionial parameter in wincmd.ini.

Re: Regex in search
How about that....
You can save your search settings ( Load/Save tab, save as "mySavedSearchSettings")
and open that with the internal command LOADSEARCH
Next create an User defined Command
[em_MySearchSettings]
cmd=LOADSEARCH mySavedSearchSettings
For that UDC em_MySearchSettings assign a keyboard shortcut, even the default one as you open the search now.
That way instead of the default search settings, always your saved search settings are loaded.
Not tested yet with that specific checkbox settings.
