Use Lister Plugin in internal viewer but NOT in Quickview Panel

Post by *CarPas »

Hello,

I'd like to use the plugin "jsontab" in the internal viewer but not in the quickview panel. Is that possible? (TCM 8.51a)

Thanks and Best Regards
Carsten

Why using such an old TC version ?
There is no such option but what is your problem using lister plugins in the QuickView.
I do this all the time and almost never use lister with F3.
Windows 11 Home x64 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3374)
TC 11.03 x64 / x86
Everything 1.5.0.1371a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.3.2, Listary Pro 6.3.0.69
QAP 11.6.3.2 x64

Fear of upgrade.

I'm completely happy with the feature set and everything works fine for me. I want lister in the quickview but that one not. It consumes to much space form the area and forces me to use F3 more often.

Anyway, thanks for help.

Best Regards

You could call internal Lister via
totalcmd.exe /i=c:\path\otherwincmd.ini /S=L filename
And then add the plugin only to otherwincmd.ini.

If you remap F3 to to that call then it will cause some restrictions:
You can then no longer mark multiple files and open them in Lister and cycle between the selected files by pressing N or P or Alt+RightArrow or Alt+LeftArrow.

You cannot view files inside archives with F3
