Hello, hopefully not a stupid idea ...
I am looking for a QR code scanner that can open local files (PDFs).
This is to quickly display documentation for a component to which the QR code is attached.
Makes the most sense on an Android tablet of course. The many PDFs are stored locally there.
So far, I haven't found a scanner.
But the TC certainly could:
In the TC via camera scan the code (text: file://storage/.../Doku1.pdf) and the file is offered (if available) to open.
Could someone else do something with it (e.g. open playlists, ...)?

If this is in house, just put them on a NAS with http access and use QR codes for these http addresses. Most QR code readers handle http URLs.

Re: TC Android: QR code to open files
Thank you for the quick answer.
This workaround I already found and it works.
But the easiest and much fastest way (for me) would be the local use.
There are a lot of (big) files on this cheap memory cards now
Also the navigation to a directory in a big structure could be easy by QR code.
