I'm on Win10 (latest patch), TC: 10.00 64bit 2021-06-10
A few days ago, I double clicked on an EXE (700MB or so, and lets call it foobar.exe) to execute/install the program. It seemed to have hung so I killed TC (right click on task bar, close).
Ever since then, when I fire up TC for the first time, I see "Connecting to foobar.exe...." and hangs for a bit. I tried deleted the foobar.exe file to no avail.
I tried searching for this problem, but there were so many "connecting to share", "connecting to ftp.." etc. and I couldn't find anyone else that seemed to have this issue.
Thank you

Re: "Connecting to foobar.exe" when starting up TC10
Huh, interesting. I guess because I deleted the file, it's now saying "Connecting to blah.exe" Another EXE file.
Also, I just realized that these two files are on an SMB share. And that share was on my right pane. I use file tree on the far left, a dir specific view in the middle, and another dir view on the right. I guess it was showing "Connecting to...filename_here" instead of the share name?
I've changed the dir on the right pane and will report back.
