Search text in listed file with preferred search engine

Post by *vdijken »

When I select a text in a listed file (F3) I can only search for that text with Google. I abandoned Google for privacy reasons. Is it possible to search with my preferred search engine instead? TC is also capable finding the default browser.

See TC help, section 4.b (part 2), in INI section [Lister]
Contextmenu1=
Search for selected text with Google|http://www.google.com/search?q=%s
Define custom context menu items. %s will be replaced by the selected text. If the part behind the | sign contains http:// or https://, characters forbidden in URLs will be replaced by %hexvalue. It's also to launch programs with parameters. If the program path contains spaces, it must be put in double quotes "".

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
