Copy in background

Post by *franc »

Halo

Is the feature planned to copy files in background, as in the desktop version of Total Commander?
Would be helpful.

File copy ("Kopiervorgang" Window as modal dialog) blocks the totalcmd for the whole copy process, I need another file manager if I need some file management in the meantime.

But maybe this is not possible, I guess, because Android system not allows that?

Thank, Frank

At the moment, it's not planned because the plugins are not supporting it. While it would be possible to support multi-threading for copying, packing and unpacking withing the device, it wouldn't be that useful.
