1. Open the Compare by content for any couple of files.
2. Hide the two-line comparison area.
3. Press Ctrl+Tab.
4. TC crashes with the following message:

Happens only in 64-bit version; the 32-bit one works fine and just ignores the Ctrl+Tab press.
OS: Windows 7 x64.

I can reproduce this crash on a Win7-x64 and TC 64-bit configuration. Not crashing with TC 32-bit.

Confirmed
I can also reproduce this crash on a Windows 7 x64 with TC 64-bit, but not with TC 32-bit.

I am getteing the same message as Flint

It's actually not a crash, it's a warning by the Lazarus/Free pascal framework that the hidden area cannot be focused.

Well, if you press the "Yes" button you can continue, but if you press the "No" button TC crashes!

AFAIK TC always closes when answering this question with "No". In technical terms TC caught an exception (created by the programming framework) and reacted to it by showing the known window, the same one that is shown when some other bad thing happens, like an access violation.

A I recalled it I had a TC copy going in the background, and that was also closed when I clicked the "No button" - a warning abouit this would have been good. To mee it looked like a crash because it was not obvious that TC would close down - I expected the Compare by Contents dialog to close

This should be fixed in TC 10.5 beta, please test it!

Reproduced with version 10.00 64bit. Tested OK using TC 10.50b2 64bit and Windows 11.
