Support for ed: searches in "Define colors by file type"

I save a search with this value in the "Search for" field:
with the name MyfileInSubfolder.
This works fine for Searches, but if I add >MyfileInSubfolder as a file type to "Define colors by file type" it does not work, the folders found in the Search dialog is not colored as expected in the file panels.
Would it be possible to make it work for "Define colors by file type" too?
