Editor - preserve links and special characters?

Post by *Lee321987 »

When I use TC to create a new text file and choose the TC Editor to open the file, if I paste text copied from web page the editor makes the links colored different than the normal text. Also if there are special characters (like the big dot at the front of bullet-list items) they show in the editor.
But after I save the file and re-open it, the links are no longer a different color, and the special characters are gone.

Is there some way I can preserve the special characters and links?

And is it possible to have a list of clickable links (meaning - in the TC Editor I open a file that is a list of links, and when I click a link it opens in my default web browser)?

The editor only saves plain text - this does not preserve any kind of formatting.
