It would be nice if we had the new TC 10.50 Lister Plugins option also in Quick view.

I was just going to make this suggestion.
It may be accessible by double click on panel title bar in Quick View mode (replace dir hotlist) and/or additional button, similar to directory hotlist/history.

I guess Right click can't be used because the previewer has control.
But why not extending the Tab context menu while quick view is displayed.
This is under control regardless of the current preview.

How and why display Tab menu while no tab is displayed?
It must be something always possible.
Double click on panel title bar - replace Directory Hotlist while Quick View is active and add option to configuration to enable/disable this behaviour.

Who says it must be there for any TC config.
I guess that the majority of users have enabled tabs.
Without them its hard to work with many open folders at the same time.
Even Explorer will get tabs in the next version.

Right, so best option is a hotkey, if "1" "2" "3" "4" "5" "F6" etc. can be send to Quick View probably any other simple hotkey can be send too.
E.g. "Q" (or any other free letter) or "F12" or "F8" (someone expect possibility to delete files from Quick View?)
Still we must remember that some hotkeys may be in use by some plugins.
And of course we need good mouse solution - maybe long right click?

I don't use tabs. After some years of use i found them of little usage advantage to me.

I use tabs to see folders I commonly enter. If you have a set of commonly entered locations, how do you get there quickly/efficiently?
I'm curious to know whether another method exists that I might use.
Thanks.

Directory hotlist + at least 2 TC instances, x32 + x64, more instances with different configuration if needed.

Then you must have a rather large hotlist which is not the best part to handle in TC.
I even disabled multiple instances and all is working in x64.
But everyone has his own way to work

Click, right-click or double-click on the
text in the title bar of the quick view window - then the rest of the bar is still avilable for double-click (Directory hotlist) and right-click (History)
