[TC 10.5b4] separate tree is not refreshed after folder deletion in a pane

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

You mean when you delete a folder outside Total Commander and return to the window?

I guess he means deleting a folder in the files and dir list while a separate tree is displayed.
This works fine here regardless of one or two trees are displayed.
So error not confirmed.

Not confirmed either.

Well, I can confirm it - IF I disable "Configuration" -> "Options..." -> "Refresh" -> "Refresh when files are created, deleted and renamed" AND I delete by right-clicking the folder in the file panel and select "Delete" in the context menu (so the system does the deletion and not TC).

But if I - like most of us - press F8 or Delete to delete a file, I cannot reproduce it.

Indeed when using Explorer to delete a folder (e.g. via context menu), then TC doesn't get informed and cannot update the tree unless you use the auto-refresh options.
