Install apk in 3.40B2 rejects with "Please select all split apk parts!"

Post by *Hammillian7 »

Now, with Android 12 in Nubia Redmagic 7Pro.

Checking 3.40b2 (downloaded from the linked "Total Commander 3.33 for Android download links" topic), I try to install a downloaded apk (droidInfo from apkmirror).

With version 3.33, it installed OK.

But, with 3.40b2, it gets a rejection small white pop up reading "Please select all split apk parts!" (But I see no other parts).

Btw, I haven't found in this forum where to post Beta issues. Please, is there any place for that? Thank you.

Jose
Thanks,
Jose

Could you post the link to droidInfo on apkmirror? I searched for droidInfo on apkmirror.com but it didn't find anything.

Of course, Sir ! :

Apk file name is:

com.inkwired.droidinfo_1.2.3-19_minAPI16(nodpi)_apkmirror.com.apk

I first found it through a link in another (forgotten) web.

Now with the file name, I've found it at:

https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/inkwired/droid-hardware-info/droid-hardware-info-1-2-3-release/droid-hardware-info-1-2-3-2-android-apk-download/

Thank you for all !
Thanks,
Jose

Got it, thanks!

I have tried it in the emulator with the 3.40b2 download version, no error.

Sorry, I cannot reproduce that. I have just retried it in the emulator:
1. Removed the installed version:
adb uninstall com.ghisler.android.TotalCommander
2. Installed the beta:
adb install tcandroid340b2d-universal.apk
3. Ran the beta
4. clicked on
com.inkwired.droidinfo_1.2.3-19_minAPI16(nodpi)_apkmirror.com.apk
5. Was asked to grant TC the right to install apk files, then it installed it just fine.

No I haven't - that may be indeed causing problems because the beta targets a newer Android version than TC 3.33. Google messes up functions with each new release. I will test it.
