Bug in internal multimedia player in TC for Android

Post by *VaginVN »

TC for Android. Ver 3.32.
1) When you create .MP4-file WITHOUT Video-stream (only audio, for example by downloading youttube audiobook with Download Master), your can not MOVE/CHANGE current time of play - only PREVIOUS/NEXT FILE.
2) Where is bugtrack thread for TC for Android ?!

I'm using the built-in Android MediaPlayer control. It has some limitations, e.g. not supporting certain codecs. I assume that it cannot handle video files without a video track. Why not use mp3 instead?

I think about .MP4 in 2022 year like about container for video, sound, video+sound. I understand your answer. I think in this way two.
Some benefit to use .MP4 is more powerfull sound compression - AAC profile. When I get youtube videos with Download Master, i download various quality for one link (240p for phone, maximum - for view at Smart TV, only sound - for when i work at my garden))) ). Thank for answer!

AAC should work in .m4a and .aac files. m4a is a sort of mp4 file. Maybe the mp4 files you have are not fully compatible? There must be a reason why seeking doesn't work...
