We need normal plugins repository. Seriously.
So what do we have.
On the one hand, we have an ghisler.com/plugins.htm in the retro style of web 1.0 (hello tr td), and on the other, the periodically dying totalcmd.net.
Things like this in 2022 is even more depressing than having a "SIZE!.TXT" in the distro.
Maybe it's time to do something about it? Good example: https://foobar2000.org/components/by+date
= sorting (date \ authors \ etc) capability
= verified authors with access to the repository and opportunity update their plugins themselves
= direct access with update possibility DIRECTLY in TC
= ...do I really have to explain all this?

+1
Sounds like it could be a fun project for someone.
"SIZE!.TXT" - Hilarious!

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
Re: We need normal plugins repository. Seriously.
OMG, enough with third parties utils! The authors of such student crafts, usually, not updated them for years.
Everyone understands that it should be centralized, like in any modern browser.
I pressed one button IN the program and immediately went to the addons gallery. Then, sorting by rating, date, author, tags, etc again WITH BUTTON BUTTON install it. And that is all. Plugins update automatically and just work. As it should be.
Сome on guys, just install Chrome and look!

@KozakMak - there are a lot of plugins and usable utilities for TC. Some of them are periodically updated, some of them stayed in the x32 version. Some of them are dead totally and some of them aren't updated for a long time but still working well.
The author's web page includes a list of plugins and utils well selected and sometimes updated, which is well understandable with a lot of work he's doing on the TC application.
You can use totalcmd.net, which is, as you wrote, periodically dying, but always resurrected, although is a bit poorly arranged, but always actualized.
There are some other websites like totalcmd.pl, where you can find actualized information for some plugins.
The Total Updater is still working too, although not been developed for a long time.
There are many ways, how you can find NON OFFICIAL plugins and utilities.

Re: We need normal plugins repository. Seriously.
I'm sorry, but it is not on some random user to create and maintain plugin repository.
It is creator/author/publisher's responsibility.
It is creator/author/publisher's responsibility.
Re: We need normal plugins repository. Seriously.
Consider plugins page maintained by Chistian as the official repository.
For non official repository where user can download what is discussed in forums and not guaranteed by @Ghisler(Author) it is another story.
Re: We need normal plugins repository. Seriously.
Christian did and does a great job with a wide usable plugins interface in TC. Many people do a great job of creating plugins for this interface. To run a repository with links, user ratings, plugin verifications and so on, could be a fun job for someone else. Although there are many useful plugins, the main goal of TC isn't to run plugins.
Better to start such a debate would be, in my opinion, asking the author, if he is thinking about something like this or to ask if you could help something about it yourself. But not to start with sentences like "It is creator/author/publisher's responsibility. " or " ...do I really have to explain all this?"
