Strange alignment of size column

Post by *funkymonk »

In TC 10.50rc2 x32 dark
I just cam across this strange alignment of size column:

https://ibb.co/GxgCQt2

While almost all standard columns (name, ext, etc.) are left aligned -- shouldn't size simply be right aligned?
Instead, a lot of space within that column is unused and long values exceed the column to the left.

ghisler(Author) wrote: 2011-07-07, 13:10 UTC This isn't a bug, it's a feature! The separator to the right of the size column allows to set the DISTANCE to the date column, while the separator to the left allows to change the distance to the extension column.

. . . ..

Well, ok. Let's call it a feature.

BTW: Any idea about how to change (increase) the distance between date and time?

No, you can't but you can make custum columns - here you can add space between date and time: https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/space_date_time.png or - https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/date_time-space.png - and then you can also get seconds.

Sure. I was still hoping for a solution without extra custom columns. Thank you anyway.

Date and time are not separate columns. If you need this, you need to create a custom columns view where the two are separate.
