Can you make a switch to wincmd.ini to keep the FTP password in memory?

You can use KeepMasterPassword in the [General] section of your wcx_ftp.ini file:

Help wrote:KeepMasterPassword=0 Allow to keep master password in memory when:
1: program is minimized
2: screen saver starts
