Is this in the internal memory /storage/emulated/0, or on an external SD card?
1. In internal memory, you can't usually see the folders in Android/data, so TC offers a way to access them via virtual folder. You can still access this virtual folder via a user-defined button:
Function type: Change directory
Command: ///_Android_data

2. External SD card: Unfortunately there is no way to access the subfolders of Android/data on it.

I've got the same problem. Also via ///_Android_data I only see the folders but no files.

There are probably no files in this location - some apps store their private files in /data/data/app_name instead of /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/app_name. You cannot access /data/data with normal user rights.

Darn... I used Run GPS as a nav for hiking but because it's an older app I'd already been uploading gpx-files manually in their folder /routes. Any suggestion on how to access /data/data?

You can't, unless the device is rooted - but when you root it, you will lose all data. You will not be able to run certain banking apps and games any more.

Please check whether the gps app has some kind of "export" function.
