[TC10.51] Separate tree shows This PC instead of Desktop

Post by *white »

  • Enable one or two Separate Trees (Ctrl+Shift+F8)
  • Go to the virtual folder Desktop (menu Commands/Open Desktop Folder)
  • Close TC
  • Open TC
  • For a second the virtual Desktop folder was selected in separate Tree, then it moved to This PC.
Tested with Windows 11.

The Desktop is still shown in the list window, only the marker in the tree is on This PC.
Clicking on This PC in the three then shows the content of This PC.

Very strange indeed. I will check it. It only seems to happen at startup, not when going there manually. The same seems to happen for other virtual folders like Network Neighborhood. Btw, the same thing happens in TC 10.50 and TC 10.00, probably also in all older versions...

Tested using TC10.52rc1 and two separate trees:
  • Go to a virtual folder in right panel.
  • Restart TC.
In the right separate tree, Desktop is selected and there is no marker for the currently displayed folder.

Confirmed, only the left or single tree.

Tested OK using TC 10.52rc2.
