If command line is empty\hidden and Esc pressed = cm_RereadSource
About [Shortcuts] Esc=cm_RereadSource - I know.

cm_ClearAll/cm_RestoreSelection is much better. I have code on AHK taking into account the Quick Filter dialog, etc.

Why not F2 (default)? Esc - it will be very inconvenient. For example, Branch View + Select. Accidentally pressing Esc will reset it all.

NOPE, F2 by default = cm_RereadSource.
And if you changed F2 there is still STRG+R to do a cm_RereadSource.
