For now, I have enabled the page title for the Main page for the English wiki only, so you can compare the behavior of the English wiki and German wiki.

I have now removed the css code to hide the Main page's title for the German wiki as well.

Now I wish the same would work with Main menu - Move to sidebar. You mentioned a workaround above but recommended not to use it because it causes a reload.

I said it causes re-rendering. The javascript code clicks the option to show the main menu when the page is loaded, thus causing the page to change when it is loaded. This doesn't look so nice and may hinder indexation by search engines. I have implemented the workaround on the English wiki now, so you can test if you like it. Please tell me if you want to keep it or not. (Note that the page re-rendering may not be very noticeable on fast systems with fast internet, but that does not apply to everyone.)

Wouldn't it be possible to implement this the same way as the TOC "Move to sidebar"?

The issue with hidden page titles is a separate thing. Previously, both the English and German wikis had custom CSS that completely hid the page title ("Main Page" / "Hauptseite") on their respective main pages. This is a common wiki practice to give a cleaner look, but when using the Vector 2022 skin it caused a side effect: the Table of Contents button ended up positioned too far right, so its dropdown menu (including the "Move to sidebar" option) could be partially off-screen on the main pages. You can still see this behavior on the privacy policy pages on the wikis, although it's less of a problem there because these page often are displayed with a right margin (unlike the main page, which by default uses maximum available width).

On Dec 24 I changed the English wiki to show the page title on the main page, so you could see the difference. But you seemingly failed to notice the TOC button and after a week, on Dec 31, I made the decision to show the page title of the German wiki's main page as well.

My pending question is about the Main menu being hidden for anonymous users. You said that I recommended not to use the workaround for this, but I explained that it was more nuanced than that and that I implemented the workaround on the English wiki only, so you can test it. Please test it and tell me if you want to keep the workaround.

It seems to work fine in Chrome, but in Firefox I get no menu sidebar and the hamburger menu to the left of the Total Commander icon disappears, so I can't reach the main menu at all. Have you tested this with Firefox too?

Your Firefox window was probably narrower, which caused the behavior. The same happens with Chrome when using a smaller window. This is an issue with the workaround that blindly clicks the option to show the main menu, even when there isn't enough space and the option is hidden. I have now added code to check whether the option is hidden, so it should work as designed now (showing main menu in sidebar for anonymous user when there is enough space, and showing the hamburger button otherwise). It's not perfect, but using the workaround isn't perfect anyway. Please test it again and let me know if you want to keep the workaround.

Another thing:

When using the Vector 2022 skin, the limited content width is excluded from the Main Page by default (to allow full-width layouts with portals, welcome boxes, news, featured content etc.).

The Total Commander wiki's main page is very much like any other page on the wiki and you may want to consider disabling the exception for the main page.
For example, look at these pages and hide the sidebars:

You can see (if the window is wide enough) that the main page has much smaller left and right margins.
If you want the main page to have the same layout as other pages, you should be able to do so with this setting:

This configuration key is considered to be a stable feature, but how to use it is not well-documented. That's why I mention it here.
You may want to try it out to see what you prefer.
